The Second Sex, Simone de Beauvoir
Having already read this in French I am going to read through the English version over Christmas before tackling an essay on the challenging of patriarchal societies.
Beauvoir is, both incredible, and terrifying. If anyone is interested in, or is studying feminism of any form this is an essential read.
